    2014 PrintIt! winners announced

The winners of the ninth annual PrintIt! competition have been announced, with Ellie Webster, a pupil from St Ives School, taking the Overall Winner slot. She said: “It was such an honour to be selected, there were so many great designs. This whole experience has opened my eyes to the print and paper industries as I would not have viewed them as a career choice until today.”

Thanking the sponsors Jonathan Ledger, MD at Proskills Academy, said: “The Proskills Schools Into Industry programmes are about inspiring young people to look at careers in print and paper industries, and yet it is participating students and teachers themselves who are the absolute inspiration. Their enthusiasm to participate and to produce such high quality entries is hard to contain.

“Of course, PrintIt! would not be possible without the generosity of the print and paper employers and industry organisations who sponsor the PrintIt! programme. We are deeply indebted to each and every sponsor and supporter and I offer my sincere thanks and gratitude.”

21 students were awarded category winner status for their projects in the 2013/14 competition.
