Infigo Software is launching two major enhancements to its MegaEdit design tool.
The first of these developments is an Adobe InDesign plug-in to improve artwork creation and template building within MegaEdit. Users can now upload designs directly from Adobe InDesign, and the variable fields and image placeholders will be automatically created in MegaEdit.
Infigo has also worked on new functionality of the MegaEdit 3D preview tool, which in early 2017 was enhanced to include special finishes, such as, foiling, spot UV and embossing. The tool now enables personalised and variable areas to include special finishes – multiple light angles, custom surface reflections, and simulated embossing, varnish and engraving options make it possible to generate true-to-life previews. MegaEdit 3D remains compatible with Esko products.
