New research from Robert Walters has revealed that 59% of IT professionals are expecting their salaries to rise 2018. 55% are also expecting to receive a bonus.
Ahsan Iqbal, associate director at Robert Walters said: Demand for IT specialists has been high for the past few years, driven by the rising threat of cyber-crime and the drive towards digitisation projects. As a result, salaries for IT and tech professionals are already at a notably high level. However, with demand for these skills remaining high, IT professionals still expect employers to offer increases in remuneration.”
