What’s having the greatest impact on your business
at the moment?
Brexit is the biggest issue. Almost immediately
after the referendum suppliers were passing on
increases and we’ve had them on a regular basis
ever since.
Where do you see the greatest wide-format
opportunities?
Retail and exhibition are always our main targets
along with agency work, but the quality of our
machinery is moving us into a more bespoke
market also.
What would make your day-to-day operations
easier?
Haha…..longer deadlines and more concise briefs
as always.
Your favourite bit of kit is..?
To be honest there’s not one favourite bit of kit
but a combination of several. The two SwissQprint
printers along with the DYSS running in harmony
together is a game changer for us. Quality,
productivity and reliability – along with the great
service both AGCad and Spandex provide – allow us
to bring more work in and increase the techniques
we can offer to our clients.
What’s the best bit of business advice you’ve been
given?
We all know our goals and we must attain them no
matter what obstacles lie in our way.
What are you most proud of achieving?
Print buying companies that supply quantity over
quality and smash the bottom line.
What lesson does the wide-format sector need to
learn?
That we are all in the same game and there is
enough work for all of us.
