ISupply installs HP Designjet L25500
Galway-based ISupply has installed a 60in HP Designjet L25500 latex printer to enable it to move into the outdoor large-format market and to offer additional indoor print solutions to its current client base.
ISupply has two quickprint bureaux in the city centre and a commercial litho hub based outside the city in Ballybane.The city centre outlets offer digital small and large-format printing while the commercial print end concentrates on four and five colour offset as well as wide-format printing.
“ISupply has developed a significant amount of indoor business in the service sector. Products such as roll-up banners and posters are in great demand for restaurants, clubs, pubs and the purchase of the HP Designjet L25500 was made to allow the company extend its product range particularly in the display end of things,” said managing director Louis Donnellan. “The main focus is still on commercial offset but now, with a number of large-format printers including the L25500, the aim is to gently increase ISupply’s presence particularly in interior display print solutions and then to develop a foothold in the outdoor market.”
Key features and benefits of the HP Designjet L25500 is the printer’s versatility to span indoor and outdoor applications from POP displays to vehicle wraps, indoor signage, such as exhibition graphics and interior decorations such as wall murals. The HP Designjet L25500 also offers high-resolution, 1,200dpi prints on a range of different substrates including polyester fabric and low-cost papers.
“ISupply is not a sign company per se,” added Donnellan. “However, with more and more clients asking for products which have to be mounted on a variety of substrates, the HP Designjet L25500 (bought from Diatec) is ideal for this because in most cases there is no lamination required. Ultimately the new printer allows the company to offer clients more variety, quicker turnaround times and with the take up on the L25500 it allows for overnight running as well.”
