Jonathan Whitworth, MD of DSales (UK), has completed four major fundraising events during 2018 in aid of Joining Jack, a charity which funds awareness and research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
The fundraising campaign began with the Run Wigan Festival, held over five kilometres in mid-March. However, extreme weather prevented Whitworth getting to Wigan so he braved the Yorkshire snows to complete the 5K distance closer to home.
In July Whitworth took part in the 50 mile Wigan Bike Ride, for which DSales is also the principal sponsor. At the end of July he participated in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge completing the 25 mile route over three peaks of around 700m each: Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
Finally in September Whitworth took on the Wigan 10K run, together with his DSales colleagues Glenn Kershaw and Dean Ranton. After completing the route.
