C3imaging joins the Forever 21 party
This November C3imaging, the Dublin based print and graphics group, was part of a major fashion event in Dublin. The US fashion chain Forever 21 opened its first European Store in Dublin’s Jervis Street Shopping centre and C3Imaging was invited to the party as the print partner.
Forever 21 has 500 outlets worldwide and the new Dublin store, measuring 6,500m2 was a major event in the city. C3imaging was approached by the US chain to outfit the new outlet because it was aware of the company’s other retail graphic work as Sean Molloy, marketing manager at C3, explained: ”Forever 21 set challenging deadlines to meet, which meant that a huge amount of print had to be produced in a short time frame. The artwork was large and needed to be but-joined, but the company was able to render artwork while keeping the printers rolling to ensure the deadline was met.”
In all over 500m of print was produced for the project on JAC Gloss SAV and finished with a JAC Matt laminate at the Deansgrange branch in Blackrock, Dublin.
Karl Mangan, project manager with C3imaging, added: “The installation team of six had to work weekends and through the night. There was no room for error as the launch date was set in stone. The results are stunning with some graphics stretching seven metres high in the Store’s atrium.”
C3imaging prints everything from a business card to a building wrap and operates branches in Dublin as well as in seven locations in the UK. It specialises in large-format graphics and produces high quality work for a number of large retailers in Ireland and the UK. Clients here include Zara, O2, and Bank of Ireland and in the UK C3imaging’s retail clients include Selfridges, Harrods and Zara as well as a number of marquee clients in the Museum and Gallery sector such as The National Gallery, V&A and the Tate.
