Durst has opened its new headquarters and customer experience centre in Brixen, northern Italy.
Customers, employees and business partners were among 1,000 guests who attended the inauguration ceremony at the 5,700m2 site, that connects a new administrative block with production facilities.
The design for a company building with a tower was first presented more than 50 years ago, but never realised. Architect Monovolume pursued the original concept and designed the flat, floating ‘wing’ with a six-storey tower with 850 multi-coloured window elevations arranged in pixel-like fashion.
Durst employs more than 700 people and has over 20 subsidiaries worldwide.
