The BPIF has teamed up with Atlantic Print Solutions to offer members a print breakdown and warranty insurance service designed to get PSPs back into production quickly following any machinery breakdown or accidental damage.
The policy covers pre-press, wide-format printers, sheet-fed, web and digital presses and print finishing equipment. It also covers the repair or replacement costs of any part or component that may have suffered a breakdown and provides cover for the reimbursement of repair costs or adjustments costs for a mechanical, electrical or electronic part or component breakdown, failure or is burnt out. Inclusive are all labour costs, parts and engineers’ travelling costs.
