Goldstar Plastics to serve the sign and display market
Glass and glazing industry supplier Goldstar Plastics is entering the sign and display market with a range of acrylic, polyester, foam PVC, rigid PVC and composite sheets. Established as Goldstar Trading 20 years ago , the company has since been rebranded as Goldstar Plastics. The original remit was to supply the glass and glazing industry with polycarbonate and acrylic sheet in cut to size dimensions together with structural glazing bars, capping bars and roof kits for the conservatory sector. The emphasis now is on supplying all aspects of the market, particularly the print industry, point-of-sale display, structural cladding, set design and the manufacture of one off display items.
Sales and marketing manager Paul Harte, said: “Despite the recession Goldstar is expanding at a rapid rate and is about to launch a new product range. The sign and display industry is just one sector which will benefit from Goldstar Plastics’ growth going forward, backed up by a new online store and new major supply contracts with companies such as Arla Plast in Sweden which can provide this company with the quick turnaround times it needs to meet clients’ very demanding schedules.
