Vision Sign & Design creates stunning Venetian wall scene for La Piccola Pizzeria
With the current climate dictating that companies need to stand out from the crowd Limerick-based sign company Vision Sign and Design has established a niche market sector in large-format wallpaper, design, print and installation. Its most recent work for well know Italian restaurant La Piccola Pizzeria in O’Connell Street, Limerick, comprised a stunning black and white Venetian canal scene with Gondolas’ along one of the main walls in the eatery which has attracted widespread comment.
Vision Sign & Design is established five years and offers general signage solutions such as sublimation print, hoardings, shop fronts,vechicle/window graphics as well small format print. Pat O’ Flynn, managing director talked about the development of this specialised area and how his company became involved.
“A lot of people come to Vision Signs for design work,” he said. “It can be start up companies who want that “special look” or established firms who need to “stand out” from the crowd. One of the solutions that Vision Signs uses to make these companies look very classy is digital wallpaper. The Venetian job is typical of this. However, it’s a much specialised service in that the print and installation of the digital wallpaper unlike vinyl wallpaper takes a certain degree of expertise which few other sign companies have. For example when a job goes to print it has to be tiled correctly because, you have joins which have to match overlaps, so there is that extra bit of work involved.”
