Epson has announced Cloud Solution Port – a cloud-based service that allows users to monitor large-format printers across several locations, from the production floor, or remotely via smartphone, tablet etc.
 At launch the supported Epson printer models are the SC-F3000, SC-F10000. Other models and services will be added in the coming months said Epson. Â
The system provides configurable, graphics-based dashboards for operational updates on print jobs, ink levels and maintenance status, and to deliver productivity analysis.
The first service to be offered on the platform will be Production Monitor, which will examine the status of production in real time. It generates daily reports that highlight production bottlenecks or opportunities where productivity can improve.Â
