Fujifilm is increasing the price of its inks, offset printing plates, processing chemicals and PWB films by a double-digit percentage as of 1 May.
The global price hike will differ depending on the region and the product. In a statement, the company said details of the new pricing structure will be communicated to customers.
Fujifilm has cited the rise in the cost of various raw materials and in freight for the move, saying it “has been working tirelessly to absorb the increases by reducing costs and improving productivity. However, the magnitude of rising costs can no longer be sustained by the company.”
