The BPIF will run daily webinars during National Apprenticeship Week (7-13 February). The series will be aimed at helping employers understand how they can support apprentices and build a workforce with future-ready skills.
The webinars – which will run 10-11am – are:
Monday, 7 February, ‘Careers in Print: Apprenticeships and Lifelong Learning’. A panel of apprentices, across a range of programmes and levels, will answer questions on their experiences and the industry.
Tuesday, 8 February, ‘Apprenticeship Funding: Maximising Financial Support Available’.  This will guide employers through the funding opportunities available.
Wednesday, 9 February, ‘A Journey in Print’. Employers will hear about how an apprentice can complement the current workforce, while apprentices will be able to get an insight into how print has changed through the generations and the value they offer.
Thursday, 10 February, ‘Apprenticeship Recruitment and Vacancies – Where to Start?’. Aimed at employers, parents, carers, guardians, students and teachers.
Friday, 11 February, ‘Apprenticeship Week Wrap-Up’.
