Merged digital signage solution provider ADXBA and bespoke architectural signage company Astra Signs are celebrating a multi-million pound contract win under the new identity Astra Group.
The two Greater Manchester businesses merged in April of this year to become one of the country’s leading full-service providers of both traditional and digital signage. The two brands will retain their individual identities as part of the Astra Group – headed by newly appointed CEO, Jim Kerr – and be joined by Astra Digital, Astra Graphics, Astra Services, and Astra Safety.
The new identity can be seen across the group’s five locations which includes hubs in Manchester, London, and Dublin, as well as on its fleet of vehicles and all physical touchpoints. A website refresh also coincides with the launch.
The news comes as Astra Group celebrates its appointment by media and entertainment group Global. This major contract win follows a competitive tender and sees Astra Group responsible for the ongoing servicing, monitoring, management design, fabrication, and installation of Global’s fleet of digital roadside, rail, and airport advertising panels across the UK.
Work is already underway with all assets being transitioned into Astra Group control using the business’s proprietary monitoring and management solution Unity Platform, with a number of sites having already been built.
Kerr said: “This is a significant win for Astra Group, playing to our collective business strengths. Global is well recognised as one of the UK’s leading outdoor media companies, providing reach to over 95% of the UK population. We’re looking forward to working together to revolutionise the out-of-home advertising space through innovation and adding value.”
Astra Group delivers visual solutions for various sectors including travel and transportation, hospitality, retail, leisure, and international events. UK and international clients include BT, Manchester Airport Group, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, Bowmer and Kirkland, NHS, Gino D’Acampo Hotels and Leisure, Manchester City Football Club, Samsung, Gatwick Airport, Skechers, Global, JCDecaux, easyJet, Alight Media, Arnold Clark, and Unilever.
