Tate Liverpool has turned to local firm Benson Signs to produce its window advertising to promote the Turner Prize.
Benson used its HP Latex 365 large-format printer to print the graphics onto Contra Vision HD perforated window film for the job. The material was chosen as it allows passers-by to enjoy the images, while those inside the gallery can see through it to the Royal Albert Dock due to its one-way vision properties.
This is the first time that the Turner Prize has been held in Liverpool for 15 years. The winner of the prize will be selected on 7 December at an award ceremony held in St George’s Hall and in the meantime, the four shortlisted nominees have had their work on show at the Liverpool waterfront venue since 20 October. The work will remain on show at Tate Liverpool until 19 March 2023.
