Spirit Displays has merged with RTD Systems, a move that includes partnering with Octanorm Vertriebs through an exclusive licence agreement for the production and sale of Octanorm products in the UK and Ireland.
Spirit Displays fabricates custom aluminium frame solutions for the graphics and signage industry, specialising in tailor-made solutions. It is a family-run company with 23 employees working from a manufacturing facility in Broadbridge Heath, West Sussex. Octanorm has been developing products in the field of exhibition construction, interior design, presentation and cleanroom for more than 50 years.
“This is an exciting chapter in our 19-year history,” said Alistair Weight, director at Spirit Displays. “We see growth potential for our business in the exhibition, event and experiential sector. The Octanorm solution brings a huge range of profiles, accessories, system-based products and creative opportunities to enable us to move in this direction.”
Alan Sheridan, the owner of RTD Systems will retire from the business in March 2023, staying on in a consulting position to ensure a smooth transition.
“The experienced Octanorm UK team will continue in their existing roles, as part of the wider Spirit Displays organisation, and continue supporting our valued customers with high quality products, an eco-conscious approach, and excellent customer service,” said Sheridan.
“There is a great synergy between the two businesses with our combined knowledge of aluminium design and processing. This opportunity increases scope for even more solutions in retail and commercial graphics and structures,” continued Weight.
