A swissPrint Kudu printer has been installed at its UK headquarters in Bracknell, where it will be used for demonstration purposes. The printer joins a Nyala 4 at the site and will be a focus of the company’s open days on 13-14 September.
The new demo machine – a 3.2×2m flatbed with roll-to-roll option – follows the first UK installation of a Kudu, at MediaCo in March, and swissQprint said there are three more orders for the Kudu to be installed by the end of October.
“We are delighted with the interest in the award-winning Kudu. The fact that we can now show its many benefits to our clients at our Bracknell demonstration centre is great news and will ensure that the Kudu continues to meet the demand for high-volume, high-quality print production,” said swissQprint UK MD Erskine Stewart.
The Kudu runs at up to 304m2/hr and has 10 colour channels (CMYKLcLm, white, varnish, neon yellow and neon pink) with a 1350dpi print resolution. It is certified first-class energy efficient
