Mimaki has rejigged its board and named current executive VP Hisayuki Kobayashi as new president upon the retirement of Mikio Noguchi (expected late June) in a bid to strengthen its marketing, cost competitiveness and production systems for emerging markets.
In a statement it said that “to ensure instant offering of the products to these strong growth markets and the expected settlement of a strong yen Mimaki will also continue to focus on the further reinforcement of the management base by delegating authority to the top of its development and production section.”
