MGI uses Drupa as launchpad

French manufacturer MGI Digital Graphic Technology will premiere its Jetvarnish 3D inkjet spot UV coater with increased production speed and new 3D spot embossing capabilities at Drupa next week.

With a speed of up to 3,000 sheets per hour (52 x 105cm / 20 x 42in), the Jetvarnish 3D can spot UV coat up to three times faster than the original Jetvarnish.  It handles formats ranging from A3 to 20 x 42in and weights from 135 to 500gsm.

The variable data capable machine will be available from the autumn.
