Ipex organiser Informa Exhibitions has announced plans for a series of roadshows next year ahead of the 2014 event. Ten UK cities will host the tour, which will also visit Australia, Belgium/Netherlands, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, South Africa, Sweden, Turkey and the USA. Attendees will hear the latest updates on Ipex 2014, which will include information on the Cross Media event which will be integrated with Ipex.
“We will present informative and engaging events that will focus on the international printing community, especially amongst the emerging markets, to ensure we engage, attract and deliver these visitors to London in 2014,” said Nick Craig Waller, Ipex 2014 marketing director.
“There has been a significant rise in footfall from emerging markets around the globe – at Ipex 2010, the split was 52% UK and 48% international visitors and we expect an increase to a 55% international, 45% national split. China, for example, is increasing its collective stand space by over 100% at Ipex 2014, and we expect to see a corresponding increase in visitor numbers as well as increased activity in the media and associations.
“So, after looking closely at these changing dynamics and other emerging markets, we are delighted to announce such a wide range of key territories that will be visited on our Ipex 2014 international roadshow. We look forward to help delegates with their first step on the journey to discover and explore new opportunities for print as part of the marketing mix at our roadshow events.”
The Ipex 2014 organising team will be presenting their plans for the roadshow at its next IAC in September.
