Roland DG Ireland road shows deliver results
The recent countrywide road shows held in Belfast, Dublin, Galway and Cork by Roland DG Ireland have delivered unexpected results for the company in the shape of a number of AJ-740i sales and a host of solid leads. Dave Rainsford, Roland DG general manager in Ireland, said he was delighted with the results so far.
“We planned the road shows over four days with the first in Belfast, so it was a pretty tight schedule. At each event we demonstrated a number of machines – the VP-300i, the RS-640, the XC-540 PRO III, the AJ- 740i and the LEC-300. After all the hard work, it was really rewarding to actually sell some AJ-740i printers during the four days.” Roland DG Ireland’s recent integration with Roland DG (UK) is now benefitting from the UK’s commitment to its Irish operation using the UK’s well established and substantial infrastructure and resources to help it meet the increasing demand from its large and growing customer base. “One of the factors which seemed to impress people at the shows was the speed of the AJ-740i,” said Rainsford. “With the right profile and materials, you can achieve production output speeds of up to 45m2/hr depending upon the application, so for an investment of ?33,995 it’s great value.”
