Katie Palmer of PPS is looking for sponsors for a charity run. She is undertraking the London Marathon on 21 April for The Children’s Society, which aims to make a difference to the lives of children in care across the UK.
“This charity is very close to my heart as I have been through the care system myself. I also volunteer for the charity in Blackpool as an independent visitor to a young girl in care. The charity is brilliant and the work they do with young people is amazing,” said Palmer.
“This is a massive challenge for me as I have never run further than three miles, but I am determined to reach the £1750 target and cross the finish line in five hours.”
