Following a prototype showing at Fespa in London last June, and beta testing at The Larger Profile in Letchworth, the Screen Truepress Jet W3200UV printer is now commercially available.
Made by Inca Digital (a Screen subsidiary) in Cambridge, the mid-range flatbed inkjet printer can take board or sheets up to 3.2 x 1.6m and up to 50mm thick, printing at up to 84m2/hr. Users can specify colour options to suit their needs: CMYK plus LcLm, plus LcLmWW or plus WW.
The printer costs from €275,000 depending on specification.
