The Cheltenham-based Commercial Group has bought 51% of neighbouring print business In2Print.
The Commercial Group is the largest independent UK business services group and comprises four divisions – print, interiors, IT services and office supplies. It is on target to a £40m turnover this financial year and currently employs over 200 people. In2Print, also Cheltenham-based, is approaching a £3m turnover and currently employs 35 members of staff.
“Here at Commercial, and even more so now that we have officially merged with In2Print, we can continue to provide our clients with a high quality print offering, re-assured that we’ve got one of the best print companies in the UK fulfilling a number of our print orders. Together we are now a leading force in print solutions,” said Arthur Hindmarch, CEO of The Commercial Group.
Pete Cassidy, chairman of In2Print, added: “Over the last few years we’ve enjoyed steady organic growth. Like with any business, the key to continued success is always looking ahead, where innovation and strategic alliances are vital. I’ve known Arthur Hindmarch, who heads up The Commercial Group, for a number of years. We’ve talked about joining forces, and I’m delighted it’s all happened. For us, this joint venture means we are able to utilise Commercial’s excellent national sales team, whilst also introduce commercial to our current clients and vice-versa."
