Canon commits to largest Ipex presence
At Ipex expect Canon to come out with full guns blazing to maximise its largest-ever presence at the show. The company is set to showcase its entire professional print portfolio on its 2000m2 stand in Hall 10, with the space clearly divided into zones that reflect the challenges faced by Canon’s professional print customers within the graphic arts industry.
For commercial printers and CRDs looking to harness the business potential of large-format applications such as graphics and signage, a range of Canon imagePrograf printers will be showcased. In addition, the Canon Path to Profit initiative will be a key feature of the stand. Visitors can be guided physically and visually along the digital print value chain towards services and applications that can separate them from the competition and escape print’s commodity trap.
Canon will also offer structured business support and advice to show-goers, with a timetable of short Essential Business Builder workshops. EBB consultants will be available on the stand throughout the show to help printers with specific queries, or to guide them on how certain solutions might help them achieve their business goals.
Canon is running a cross media pre-show campaign entitled ‘Leap’, to inspire printers and to develop their business in profitable new directions. Visitors looking for inspiration and motivation beyond the technology can gravitate to the Leap Customer Gallery, which offers real-world examples of Canon customers that have themselves made the ‘leap’, redefining their offering or pursuing innovative business models, applications or revenue streams to take their businesses forward.
