Vision in Print offers lean manufacturing training days
Printers across all spectrums are being encouraged to attend Vision in Print’s lean manufacturing training days created to enable managers to lead its implementation. “Often those who are asked to implement lean manufacturing processes within a business have successfully undertaken one or two projects and are committed to the concept but would benefit from having additional tools or skills,” said Richard Gray, director of Vision in Print, part of the BPIF.
The dates and topics covered are:
14 April – Using data to drive improvement
8 July – Harnessing the power of teams
30 September – Seeing opportunities in value streams
25 November – Managing projects to ensure success
Each of the days runs from 10am to 4pm with lunch provided. Cost per day per delegate is ?250 (?225 for BPIF members) plus VAT. For those booking all four days a special rate of ?750 (?675 for BPIF members) plus VAT is offered and in addition the company represented will be entitled to a free on site mentoring day by a Vision in Print engineer. ?
