InfoTrends has taken on Howie Fenton as associate director of operations consulting. He will work with governments, universities, and corporates to assess and benchmark their customer and graphic communications processes and provide recommendations on staffing, technology, and sourcing. He will also work with commercial printers on strategy, workflow optimisation, and business development initiatives.
Prior to joining InfoTrends, Fenton spent over 25 years in the graphic communications industry. In addition to his consulting work, he has written five books including three on operational production and two on digital printing. Both books on digital and variable data printing led him to serve as a judge for the PODi and the Xerox Pixi Awards in addition to working with the PIA Digital Printing Council and HP Digital Printing Advisory Council. He has managed a quick printing company, the prepress department of a commercial printer, and has taught at the Rochester Institute of Technology School of Printing.
