Roland DG introduces VersaCamm VS-640
Printers in Ireland will soon be able to get their hands on the new Roland DG 64in VersaCamm VS-640 inkjet printer/cutter. It is anticipated that a demonstration model will be in Roland’s Dublin showroom not long after the machine’s introduction at Sign and Digital UK in Birmingham in April.

The printer/cutter which comes in three models including an eight-colour version with metallic silver and white Ink. It’s designed so that the user can freely combine silver, process colour and white to create a wide range of specialist effects based on a new generation of printhead technology.
Although all of Roland DG Ireland’s back-office and general management function was absorbed recently into Roland DG’s UK operation it still retains a strong local presence in Ieland from its showroom located in Ballymount, Dublin where there’s a range of Roland DG models available for demonstration.
John Parle, Ireland sales manager, Roland DG said: “At 64in wide, it’s the most flexible print/cut machine we have produced to date. The VS-640 can be purchased as a fast, high quality four-colour printer, as a six-colour printer for superb quality or as an eight-colour printer including white and metallic for ultimate flexibility and value-add.”
