TQ Paper expands its digital product range
TQ Paper, one of the few remaining independent Irish paper merchants, has expanded its digital product range with the introduction of Sihl’s digital imaging range of large-format inkjet media. The Dublin-based company already supplies small format paper, board and rigid PVC for digital print and has now decided to encompass wide -ormat products into its digital portfolio.
Terry Quinnlan, MD of TQ Paper said the Sihl range offered his company and excellent opportunity to generate new business in a difficult market.
“TQ has been looking at this area for quite some time now and Sihl’s comprehensive range of both waterbased and solvent/UV curable media will allow us to offer our customers a very broad range of high quality large format substrates. It also opens up the door for us into the outdoor signage market which is an area where we feel we can develop new business.”
Quinnlan pointed out that many large-format manufacturers he had looked at previously did not appear to supply the depth or range of media required to cover both indoor and outdoor applications which TQ paper required.
“We can now supply the market with banner, POS media, self adhesive, backlit film/window graphics, white, clear and slide film as well as artistic specialities such as canvas apart from standard grades such as billboard, poster and self adhesive papers,” he explained.
