Mimaki shows largest ever line up of UV printing technology
‘Engineering Precision’ is its heritage and current focus, so visitors to the Mimaki stand (Hall 12 – C120) won’t be disappointed as the company has pulled out all the stops to show off its largest ever line up of UV printing technology.
Latest UV innovations to be shown include the natty, four colour plus white (CMYKW) entry-level A3 flatbed that handles objects up to 5cm thick, making it perfect for the promo market. This will be joined by the UJF-706, a photo-realistic, seven colour printer with white (CMYKLmLcW) which, with a print area of 70x60cm and thickness capability of up to 15cm, makes it a serious contender for promotional items and novelties, electronic covers, plastic cards, operation panels, name plates and small signs.
Mimaki’s large-format JFX-1631 will also be in the spotlight and if its claims turn out to be accurate, for good reason. This machine offers the possibility of printing large quantities of smaller objects or smaller quantities of large format sign panels. Mimaki says it differentiates itself through its ability to print detail, for instance, legible 3-point characters. Also depending on requirements, buyers can choose between flexible or hard ink, with the flexible ink said to stretch up to 200%.
Gert Jan van Hilten, marketing communications manager, Mimaki Europe, said: “With our latest UV products, we have answered the market demands for UV printers – producing machines in various sizes – that offer a robust UV solution for faster turnaround times and variable data printing, as well as high-quality printing on a wide variety of substrates. We are looking forward to demonstrating the true strength and versatility of our products.”
