French specialist large-format company Figarol has used its 5m wide Figatex 5000 printer to produce a 1000m2 print for the Rock Werchter festival.
Created in 1975, the annual festival runs from end of June until the beginning of July and is among the world’s most important music festival with around 340,000 visitors. To decorate the entrance of the site, the organiser wanted unique imagery. Engineering department Studio Line (Belgium) set strong technical constraints – such as dense colours, a foldable and reusable print on a light fabric (200gsm) – which were met by using the Figatex 5000.
