This summer will see a new stretchable ink from Mimaki. The LUS-350 – suitable for various thermoforming applications – is compatible with the Mimaki UJF-7151plus and JFX200-2513 printers. It will be available in CMYK, white and clear.
Mimaki said its LUS-350 ink will stretch up to 350% when heated to between 120 – 200 degrees Celsius. After cooling to room temperature, the ink’s rigidity is restored, adhering to the moulded product without cracking or peeling.
