RR Donnelley wins final Ipex 2010 ‘champions in print’ award
The judges of the Ipex 2010 ‘Champions in Print’ award have broken with tradition and given the final accolade not to an individual but to the RR Donnelley printing group, which they consider to have had one of the most positive impacts on the industry and which has been a shinning example of pioneering innovation.
Formed in 1864, RR Donnelley is a global provider of integrated communications and the world’s premier full-service provider of print and related services, including business process outsourcing. It employs around 55,000 people globally and has manufacturing operations in North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe.
President and CEO Thomas J. Quinian III said: “We are pleased and honored that the innovative work our employees are doing on behalf of customers worldwide is being recognised by Ipex. New technologies, such as our ProteusJet digital print units are helping to create fresh opportunities for customers to employ highly personalized print in their communications mix. In combination with a host of other innovations, including mobile and interactive tools, these technologies are enabling our customers to more effectively engage with their audiences.”
