Latex vehicle wrap film from Hexis
French vinyl manufacturer Hexis has launched a cast latex digital printing film and gloss laminate for vehicle wrapping applications. Both films are PVC-free and do not contain any solvents, plasticisers or heavy metals. At Fespa 2010 Hexis used a US-made Tesla electric roadster to demo the new films and emphasise their environment-friendly qualities.
The HXL300WG2 has a thickness of 100?m and boasts a printed and laminated vertical outdoor exposure of three years. It can be printed with all types of solvent and eco-solvent inks including Mutoh bio inks and HP latex ink. The media is for dry application and uses the Hex’Press structured PE-liner to make it repositionable during application and ease egress of any trapped air bubbles.
