HP Scitex LX800 is an instant success at Magraf
Brussels-based Magraf has moved much of its roll-fed indoor and outdoor work onto its HP Scitex LX800 3.2 m machine, the first such unit to be installed in Benelux. Situated in a residential area of the Belgian city, the company’s move to HP’s latex printing technologies was driven by the desire for greener production options with no odour and the ability to output to more polyester-based materials.
This latest addition to HP’s portfolio of printers using its proprietary latex technology now runs round the clock outputting to a wide variety of matched media. “The LX800 has increased our volume by 3.5 times, and its ability to output to porous materials is a definite advantage,” states Pascal Sparenberg, general manager at Magraf. “On textiles the colours are bright, close to dye sublimation, and we can print everything from small posters to big banners across a range of different materials on the same machine.”
