An option that allows users to get a get up to a 20% jump in productivity from their Onset printer with no loss in print quality has been made available by Inca Digital Printers. Developed and tested with Fujifilm, it has been beta tested by Superior Creative services, where production director Stewart Powell described it as “like having a turbo charger”.
The increase in print throughput is dependent on the particular Onset model, and the number of print passes. The maximum throughput of the Onset S40i with automation has been increased from 470m2/hr to 560 m2/hr – a 20% increase. This equates to an additional 720 m2 that can be printed within an eight-hour shift.
