Akihisa Ogawa appointed as chairman of Mutoh Europe

Akihisa Ogawa has been appointed chairman of Mutoh Europe in a bid to accelerate its growth in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). He will combine this new role with his existing role as managing director in charge of overseas sales at Mutoh Industries, Japan.   

Mutoh Europe’s managing director Mitsuo Takatsu will continue to oversee Mutoh Europe’s daily operations and the execution of the company strategy, while Ogawa – in direct sync with the board of directors of Mutoh Industries – will determine the long-term business objectives of Mutoh in EMEA and its overall strategy for achieving sustainable growth and expanding its footprint in the region.
