ArtiosCad 7.7 offers new packaging and display design tool
Features within the new ArtiosCad 7.7 will help sign and display shops as well as packaging designers and converters make designs with special display materials trouble-free according to EskoArtwork.
The company has recognised the popularity of ArtiosCad as a design tool by adding POP display standards to the style catalogue. Users browsing the POP library will find parametric design templates from which to design POP displays.
The latest version of ArtiosCad provides two important new tools.
– Support for Re-board and V-notch linetypes: Re-board and other multi-wall substrates are typically very thick. V-notches are now correctly designed, and can be easily visualized as angle cuts. In addition, they can be accurately folded in 3D for quality control to ensure they are properly designed and to create visually accurate client presentations.
– Tab and slot assembly tool for displays and multi-component designs: A time saver for POP display designing. Using a 3D visual, the tab and slot assembly tool will help to ‘assemble’ components of a display with just a few clicks.
