ASAD showcases its skill at producing themed indoor graphics
ASAD (Allen Sign and Display), based in Naas, Co Kildare, has just completed an unusual project for a number of public houses in Kilkenny town and Athlone town which involved producing themed wall graphics depicting various scenes from each locality. ASAD had been employed to produce outside signs for each location and the themed inside graphics came about as a direct result of this.
The company was formed by Graham Allen in June 2009 having spent over 20 years managing several well known signage and print companies in both London and Dublin. ASAD has formed relationships with independent retailers, hotels, government bodies and other businesses which form the backbone of the company’s business today.
Allen explained: “For the wall graphics the company enlisted a local photographer to take shots of scenes from the respective localities and ASAD then printed these on embossed wallpaper on a Roland Soljet Pro III XC-540 print and cut machine. The themes used were primarily of each locations main castle like the world-renowned Kilkenny castle.
“One of the unusual aspects of ASAD is that the greater percentage of the companies business comes via referral and repeat business which is probably the nicest way to get work. ASAD’s experience allows it to specify the right product for each clients needs from simple display graphics to bespoke manufactured items in a variety of materials including stainless steel, plastics and timber.”
