Baldwin has developed UVed Flex, an ultra-compact modular LED UV single and multi-frequency (broadband UV) system suitable for inkjet, web, flexo and litho applications. The Broadband LED UV allows conventional UV chemistries in many applications. It will launch at Drupa.
A further development of the high power UVed is a new interchangeable UV lens technology, to ensure optimised UV performance at the ink/coating surface.
Baldwin’s new multi-frequency LED UV system allows some conventional chemistry to be used without any modification, while the single frequency LED UV works with compatible LED inks and coatings.
