If you’re looking for a business reason to visit Barcelona in June what about the IMI Ink Jet Technology Showcase 2011? Taking place on 8 – 9 June, the Euro 595 event comprises tutorials, keynote talks and presentations, plus networking events and opportunities via inclusive lunches and receptions. Immediately before the showcase there will be two courses at the same locations: The Ink Jet Academy: Theory Of Ink Jet Technology and UV Ink Jet Printing Course (6-7 June).

The Theory Of Ink Jet Technology is a one-and-a-half day course describing the basics of inkjet and ink technologies through to the latest advances, led by Mike Willis of Pivotal Resources and Dr Alan Hudd and Dr Tim Phillips of Xennia Technology. 

The UV Ink Jet Printing Course is aimed at those wanting to learn more about formulating UV-curable inks, using and curing them.
