The UK’s first Canon Colorado 1630 has been installed at Beacon Print in West Bromwich. The company hopes it will increase productivity, provide new business opportunities and help it growth into new markets.
Beacon Print – founded in 2014 – primarily operates in the education, healthcare, large corporate and SME sectors, providing small- and large-format digital print and installation. It first approached Canon at the beginning of this year with interest in the new roll-to-roll machine.
Installation of the Colorado 1630 has since allowed the company to access the digital wallpaper printing market. Thanks to its low ink and energy requirements, the new printer has also delivered significant savings for Beacon Print, where it has also improved print uptime
