Berger Textiles will introduce a new ‘Architecture’ portfolio of functional textiles for interior architectural applications at Fespa Global Print Expo 2023 (Messe Munich, 23-26 May) as well as new soft signage and apparel materials.
The Architecture range will launch with two products: ‘Shift’, a direct or dye-sub transfer printable 250gsm, 470µ polyester textile engineered to absorb and neutralise odours for use in applications such as display frame systems, banners and interior panels; and  ‘Absorber’, comprising two noise-absorbing materials – Absorber 009 is a needle felt made from 100% rPET fibres derived from recycled plastic bottles, and Absorber 050 for use in frames and built-in structures.
There will be two new soft signage materials launching: ‘Moon’, a 330gsm grey-back polyester with a good level of opacity; and ‘Icon’, a 230gsm,100% cotton canvas for dye-sublimation available in 152cm and 320cm widths.Â
Berger Textiles will also introduce new apparel fabrics at the expo, available with or without pre-treatment for pigment printing
