“Social media is here to stay, but digitalisation is not the end of printing,” said the Rt Hon David Blunkett MP as guest speaker at The Printing Charity’s 187th Annual Luncheon on 6 November in London. In his speech he also rallied the industry behind apprenticeships, calling them “fundamental to our future”, and praised The Printing Charity for its work, including its support of apprenticeships in the print industry.
Over 160 people from the printing and publishing industries attended the event, which raised £1,290 through five prize draws for the charity’s work.
