US show SGIA has seen Bordeaux introduce its new Eden PG ink, demonstrated on its Velvet Jet pretreatment-printer-heater combo to show how it can be used for all types of fabric.
The Velvet Jet PB180 printer allows print speeds of up to 120m2/hr with four printheads (upgradable to eight and 16 printheads). It is equipped with a sticky belt in order to handle every type of fabric, utilizing the full capability of the new ink. A printer-heater synchro-unit, which facilitates printing speed, and tension unit, is said to maintain fabric tension throughout the system at all times.
Eden PG has Oeko-Tex and GOTS certifications, allowing its use for sensitive printing applications like baby clothing.
