BPIF hosts business briefings at Ipex
The BPIF will be hosting seven business briefings throughout Ipex in its members’ lounge.
These events are open to both BPIF members and non-members and will allow guests to gain useful updates on the following subjects:
Dotgain.org – Tuesday 18 May
Showcasing the latest development in digital printing and finishing, as well as looking at the highlights of the show, including web to print and cross-media marketing.
Health, Safety and Environment – Wednesday 19 May
Addressing a number of Health and Safety issues for the Printing and Packaging industry, including on-site advice from the BPIF National Environmental Adviser on all environmental issues common within the industry.
ViP and BPIF Business – Thursday 20 May
Vision in Print launches HSPG Snapshot Plus, and BPIF Business launches Sun Chemical ISO 12647/2 Gap Analysis.
BPIF Commercial Products and Financial Alliance – Friday 21 May
A range of briefings will take place across the Red Flag A!ert system, BPIF Insurance Services, Printing Industry Pension Scheme and the BPIF Financial Alliance.
Human Resources – Saturday 22 May
Practical advice by BPIF professional HR Advisers on how to best solve business and personnel problems. Talks will include current HR policies and procedures.
PrintYorkshire – Sunday 23 May
An update on activities in the region including Printable Electronics and the launch of the Printer’s Portal.
BPIF Training – Monday 24 May
BPIF Training in association with The Institute of Administrative Management are launching a Level 3 Certificate Programme, with the first event planned for summer 2010 for international delegates.
In addition to these business briefings, the BPIF will be offering a free mini business health check to anyone who drops by its stand.
