Bryan S Ryan adds to Canon imagePrograf printer offering
Bryan S Ryan, which recently signed a new agreement with Canon Ireland to become its strategic partner for the professional digital print market in Ireland, is now selling Canon’s range of imagePrograf large-format printers – the 24in iPF6350/iPF6300 and the 44in iPF8300. The addition of these three new machines will further strengthen Bryan S Ryan’s strategy of increasing its LFP presence in the high end photographic, proofing and graphic arts market in Ireland.
Based in Tallaght, Dublin 24, Bryan S Ryan is Canon Ireland’s direct route to market for all Canon’s LFP and professional print products. David Taylor, sales director at Bryan S Ryan said: “Basically nothing has really changed in the Canon range except that the iPF6350/iPF6300 and the 44 inch iPF8300 have replaced the previous Canon fine art series of imagePrograf LFP’s, the iPF6100, iPF6200 and the iPF8100. However, the new series, with Canon’s latest 12 colour Lucia EX pigment ink system is really aimed at professional photographers, and the high end graphic arts market.
“These new products are able to deliver increased print accuracy and the new ink system has been developed to dramatically improve the overall quality especially for those companies in the professional photographic, proofing and fine art markets. Although the market here is down about 40% Bryan S Ryan sees a great opportunity to target the photographic sector with this new Canon series. Other important developments, such as improved scratch resistance and greater protection against colour fading, are key selling points.”
