What’s having the greatest impact on your business at the moment?
We are a company that is growing and investing in difficult times where new work is difficult to win and existing customers are hard to keep hold of. So I would say the economic climate.
Where do you see the greatest wide-format opportunities?
The way wide-format is going at the moment is to compete with the longer run print work. Wide-format print is getting faster and is produced at a higher quality consistently. I believe digital print will be taking more customers that used screen-print as form of print for medium run work.
What would make your day-to-day operations easier?
Online ordering and customers being able to track all jobs at any time they wish, both of which will be available in the coming weeks.
Your favourite bit of kit is..?
Its always the latest technology you have invested in. Ours at the moment is the HP FB7500.
What’s the best bit of business advice you’ve been given?
The most important person in the world is the person standing in front of you right now.
What are you most proud of achieving?
I am most proud of the new purchase of the FB7500. We are not a large company, but this investment shows Foscos has big ambitions.
What lesson does the wide-format sector need to learn?
Hardware suppliers need to be able to support the print companies faster and more efficiently during their times of need….breakdown!
