Dezines is launching a new company called 360 Design Consultants to produce bespoke photographic wallcoverings based on the installation of a HP Latex 335 print-and-cut solution. Each wall mural is priced per m2 – at a rate below the market average – to make it attractive to the consumer market.
The new Newport-based company, operating under the Dezines umbrella of creative companies owned and managed by Kerry Sian Ballard, is primarily an offshoot of Dezines Internet Solutions, which provides front-end web development and design, e-commerce platform solutions, video and photographic asset production in combination with Ballard’s experience as a professional photographer. She believes that owing to the wide variety of its customers, existing services and skillsets of its staff, a photographic wall mural company is a complementary fit for Dezines. Â
“We produce wonderful photographic work for clients whose walls are currently bare, while others require easily changeable photographic backdrops for in-house photoshoots,” said Ballard. “Among our clients there is considerable interest in photographic walls.”
Dezines has large-format experience producing banners and retail displays, but a investment in a newer system was required for the new standalone company. The HP Latex 335 was installed by Stanford Marsh in late 2019.
By introducing the HP WallArt Suite solution with an e-commerce API, customers will be able to experiment orders via the website www.3SIXTYDC.com for 360 Design Consultants to print and post. Customers can choose from hundreds of images suitable for commercial and domestic environments, select their preferred size, and choose to install the print themselves or opt for a professional installation service.
